In the year 198 AH, the governor of the Abbasif state, al-Ma'moon, ordered the reconstruction of the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), to attract the followed of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to absorb the growing resentment on him because of the killing of his brother the former ruler al-Amin, and his takeover of power. This work is produced by the animation unit of the al-Kafeel Network/ Department of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
